You Will Need:

  • 8 ounces/237 ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide
  • 3 tablespoons/45 grams of baking soda
  • 1 drop of liquid hand dishwashing soap

Put the baking soda in a spray bottle. Then add the 3% hydrogen peroxide, and lastly add a drop of liquid hand dishwashing soap. Do not shake the bottle because it can clog the siphon straw - swish it around gently.

Use the mixture immediately because it won’t work if you save it for later. Spray the areas with pee stains and let the mixture sit for 5min - 10 min. The stains should disappear after this period of time.

If you still see some of the stains apply the mixture again and wait one more time until the stained areas are clean. If you notice some baking soda residue remove it with a wet cloth or a vacuum cleaner.

  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar
  • a drop of essential oil (optional for a pleasant smell)

You don’t want to leave your bathroom exhaust fan dirty because all the heat and humidity can lead to developing mold and mildew. Most bathroom fans are easy to remove, but some might require a screwdriver to remove the screws and get it off.

First, climb on a ladder or step tool to vacuum the dust from the exhaust fan, so the dust doesn’t fall onto your floor or even worst, right on your face! Then you can remove the fan cover and rinse it using a brush and soapy water to make it spotlessly clean. Let it dry and go back to the exhaust fan to clean the inside area you can reach with your vacuum cleaner. It’s best to turn off the power to the entire circuit for safety reasons. If you can’t do it, be extra cautious because there are live wires in there.

Lastly, put back the cover and take a long relaxing shower to test your exhaust fan. You’d be surprised how well it works!

Clasp your tongs around each blind and watch all the dust coming right off! The window blinds attract quite a lot of dust so you’ll most certainly need a few sets of microfiber dust cloths to get the job done. Optionally, you can spray cleaner on the blinds before cleaning.
